How does Static Electricity work?

Have you ever imagined how static electricity works?

Static electricity can make your hair go up when you rub a balloon
on the wall and then on your head. First to make static electricity
we need to know that negative and positive  energy attract.
Everything has tiny particles of positive and negative energy.
They have the same amount of each. If you rub a balloon on a
cotton coat it will take the negative energy into the balloon. Then
if you put it on the wall it attracts because it is attracted to the
positive energy in the wall.It only stays on the wall for awhile
until it balance out again that is how static works.
